1. Free estimate
We visit your property, discuss your objectives, offer recommendations to meet your budget, and then formalize it afterwards with a free quote.
2. Preparation
Once you give us the go-ahead, we start planning your build, confirm that the project site is safe, and review plans with you before delivering materials to begin the project.
3. Construction
Construction starts with a walk-through by the site manager to ensure the team follows safety procedures, has all the right materials, and is clear on the project plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on the size of your fence/deck project, we normally need between two and five days for installation. This can vary due to poor or rocky ground conditions, whether we need to remove an existing fence and the prevailing weather conditions.
Unforeseen circumstances, such as COVID-19, can slow everything down too. However, we will be upfront with you about best-estimate build times from the beginning. We normally work according to the following guidelines:
- Ornamental fences: 80-150 ft/day
- Vinyl fences: 80-150 ft/day
- Wood fences: 40-100 ft/day
- Chainlink fences: 100-200 ft/day
- Agricultural fences: 200+ ft/day
Move obstacles away from the fence line as much as possible. Allow two-feet on either side of the fence line at a minimum. Also, please cut back vegetation if it is in the fence line.
Our service to you is not complete until your premises is completely cleaned and cleared of clutter, tools and construction debris.
We clean as we go, meaning all garbage and other accumulated materials will be collected and removed off-site by our crew throughout your project.
After completion and tidy up, we have a walk-through and, assuming you are entirely satisfied, your fence is ready to protect and beautify your property. We will send you a final invoice for payment at that point.
Once you contact us and we arrange an on-site appointment with you for a free estimate, you will receive your quote the same day provided that there are no extenuating complications.
The purpose of the free estimate that follows an on-site inspection is to provide you with a guideline price that will include everything – no surprises!
Yes, you can! Our team will require the name, address, phone number, email and signature from your neighbour to proceed, and we can split the invoicing free of cost.
A 50% deposit is typically required to secure pricing (especially due to volatile commodity prices), and to enable us to prioritize your project in our schedule.
